Eventually, protesters erected a "Myeongbaksanseong," or "Myeongbak Castle," named after the president, at the intersection of Gwanghwamun and Cheong Wa Dae, to block protesters' candlelight vigils, while police fired water cannons and pepper spray at protesters in the streets.
